Initiative to Address the Problems of Persistent Poverty in the US - Center for American Progress: "Initiative to Address the Problems of Persistent Poverty in US
The Center for American Progress (CAP) today announces a new project: Hope, Opportunity, and Mobility for Everyone (HOME): The National Initiative to End Poverty.
This is a good thing. Why am I not optimistic? Oh yeah, we haven't been doing so well getting our anti-poverty policies implemented since around 1964. Let's think some more about it.
