Letters to the Editor: Student activism is not a waste of time - Opinions: "I agree that in America, the level of student activism is low, but maybe it is because many are convinced that we have to 'work with the system.' Sometimes, unfortunately, the system does not work, and you have to take a stand. You have to get in the streets. You have to attract attention. You have to make some noise. I don't believe it is a waste of time to fight for what you believe in, and I for one will continue to do so.
