PoughkeepsieJournal.com - Springsteen's latest release pays tribute to Fishkill's Seeger: "'It's a great honor,' Seeger said during a telephone interview. 'I think people should be aware of what went on in previous parts of history. If you don't know history, you're in a weak position to solve some of the questions of the future. It was kind of an education for me, about my country, when I started learning this music.'

Then, Seeger added, 'I think it's hilarious that this old communist is now being treated with such respect.'"
